Plate Peek-a-Boo

Simone's latest trick is playing peek-a-boo with her plate.  Her arms seem to be getting very long!

Happy Birthday

We can't believe it but Simone is a year old.  How did that happen????  We've had two celebrations. A brunch with some good friends - we had soup, so the we could justify eating the three cakes; a gluten free chocolate number, a giant tiramisu and a sugar-free, super healthy number for Simone.  Josh chose a snazzy, pink party dress for the guest of honor. She quickly smeared her outfit with vegemite.  Unfortunately, by the time dessert rolled around Simone was so tired she nearly fell face first into her cake.  She rallied after her nap and indulged despite the lack of sugar.

Blowing out the candle is something our little girl is going to need to work on.

On Simone's actual birthday - we opened her presents in bed.  Books of course!

No, mummy is not on drugs. Her pupils are huge because she doesn't know how to edit photos.

Then we had another party at one of our parent groups.
